A festival in memory of a music-loving Teessider attracted hundreds of people and helped raise £5,000 for charity in 2014. In January 2015 RobFest II took over Stockton’s Georgian Theatre, Green Room and Mohujos and saw around 40 local bands playing for free. The festival was organised by friends David Rutherford, Tom Joyce, Gina McBride and Jon Elliott as a tribute to Robert Brown, 27, of Stokesley, who died suddenly in tragic circumstances last June.

The event alone has raised over £7,000 for MIND charity over the two concerts which was chosen by Rob's parent's June and David.
